--- res: bibo_abstract: - We consider the quantum mechanical many-body problem of a single impurity particle immersed in a weakly interacting Bose gas. The impurity interacts with the bosons via a two-body potential. We study the Hamiltonian of this system in the mean-field limit and rigorously show that, at low energies, the problem is well described by the Fröhlich polaron model.@eng bibo_authorlist: - foaf_Person: foaf_givenName: Krzysztof foaf_name: Mysliwy, Krzysztof foaf_surname: Mysliwy foaf_workInfoHomepage: http://www.librecat.org/personId=316457FC-F248-11E8-B48F-1D18A9856A87 - foaf_Person: foaf_givenName: Robert foaf_name: Seiringer, Robert foaf_surname: Seiringer foaf_workInfoHomepage: http://www.librecat.org/personId=4AFD0470-F248-11E8-B48F-1D18A9856A87 orcid: 0000-0002-6781-0521 bibo_doi: 10.1007/s00023-020-00969-3 bibo_issue: '12' bibo_volume: 21 dct_date: 2020^xs_gYear dct_identifier: - UT:000578111800002 dct_isPartOf: - http://id.crossref.org/issn/1424-0637 dct_language: eng dct_publisher: Springer Nature@ dct_title: Microscopic derivation of the Fröhlich Hamiltonian for the Bose polaron in the mean-field limit@ ...
