In many cases, materials are obtained which are competitive in terms of capacitance and cycle lifetime. In this part, the use of polysaccharides, either directly through composite approaches, or by carbonization will be described. In many cases, materials are obtained which are competitive in terms of capacitance and cycle lifetime.
